Who am I?
My name is Paula and I am a Dutch-born Canadian, currently living in The Netherlands.
I started blogging as a way to keep my family in Canada informed about events and happenings while I live here in Holland. It also helps me keep track of some bizarre things that happen over here.

Just continuing our conversation on Jan Marijnissen’s blog:
I must confess that I know preciously little about Canadian politics. I have never been there (except for one hour when I was 10 and we visited both sides of Niagara Falls).
The thing that attracts me (you too?) in SP is that it is a true grassroots movement. This (I think) is very important, as it keeps the voters involved all the time, and not just during election years.
So if you were ever to start or join a political party in Canada, those are very important characteristics.
