Richest Municipalities 2004

Rozendaal rijkste gemeente van Nederland
Rozendaal in the province of Gelderland was the richest city in The Netherlands in 2004.

The average income level was 56% higher than the countries average of 20,000 euros. 30,419 in Canadian dollars.

The riches communities were mostly in the north of Holland in 2004. Groningen and Friesland did very poorly because the poorest communities were located in those provinces. The spending space in those communities lay 22 – 16% below the country average.

  1. It is interesting, indeed. The more so when you can see how despite all human laws, there still are those huge disadvantages in a population supposedly to be equal under the law.

    The same thing happens here. Much has yet to be done to achieve the ideal equality. If ever.
