Partridge Hunt

The Prince of the Netherlands, Willem Alexander could not resist what is not allowed in his own country and participated with friends in the shooting of partridges in Spain.

This was done for no other reason other than to have fun and the Spanish nature ‘guards’ are disgusted and ask if the prince has nothing better to do.

According to the Spanish paper El Periodico Extremadura, Prince Willem Alexander and friends went to Extremadura in Spain and participated in the hunt.

The hunt of partridges is banned in The Netherlands since Sept of 1998. The organization Faunabescherming finds it a serious business that a Prince who is in an example function, would travel to a Spanish nature park to do what is illegal in his own country.

The international organization Bright Eyes has called upon European animal activists to protest against the hunting activities of the prince and his friends. (Party for the Animals)

Disgusting, Paula, but I must say also the King of Spain allegedly flies over to Russia for the hunt of the bear, something which is strictly forbidden in Spain. I wonder why we have to pay those people their whims.
